Dieting is almost impossible

with what should be your best tool - your appetite.
Instead of being dictated to of what to eat today, try an eating

A calorie is a calorie is a calorie, always, and
3500 calories = a pound of fat.

NOT HARDLY! Muscle mass, mood and more elements make
a huge difference on each person, each day, each hour, and
eating too little can slow or even stop losing weight. It wasn't
your math that was faulty, it was this two dimensional notion.

I don't have the time/energy to exercise enough to get
anything out of it.

Learn how exercise generates energy, not drain it. 20-30
minutes A WEEK making the right moves makes more
muscles then standard weight lifting routine, with much less
wear and damage to joints and tendons. 10 minute spurts of
breathing hard, 3 times a day is more effective than 30
minutes at once. This is fun. Fun is addictive.

Been On A Diet?

Gone from eating a lot to eating little? Your body misses the
point that it is supposed to tap on the stored fat/fuel. Instead,  
your body thinks YIKES! FOOD SHORTAGE! You move into
FAMINE MODE, and start to get great mileage out of water, air
and radishes. You start the diet, you lose a few pounds (of
water), you stop losing. You try harder. You eat less. You
exercise more. You gain a pound. Your personal
doctor/trainer/coach/dietician/friend/relative
tells you that you must have done the math wrong. Or are doing
donuts in your sleep. The more times you go on and off a diet,
the more effective your body gets at staying stuck, and obtaining
better and better mileage on a single radish.

You can get out of the famine mode, and lose the rotten feelings
from going around hungry, by eating more. Feed your sense of
abundance, that it is safe to clean out and burn up what you've
been storing up.

The key is EAT MORE WHAT?
"Everything in moderation. There is no such thing as bad
food" is a load of baloney.

Decades have gone into proving this form of calorie counting is
counter-productive. Focus on the Quality of what you eat and
the Quantity takes care of itself. When you get what you need,
you don't overeat. When you don't get what you need, you
keep on eating, getting no satisfaction.

Nobody, no BODY got fat on fresh fruit. Eat all the raw fruit, raw
or slightly cooked non-starchy vegetables you want whenever
you want. Measuring, moderating this stuff, and some other real
foods, is absurd.

On the other side, some "foods" aren't really, and only a human
will mistake it for food. THAT is the stuff that overweight is about.


Refined sugar has clinically proven to be as addictive as
nicotine and cocaine. Trying to eat everything in moderation
includes losing propositions like 1/2 cup of ice cream. That 1/2
cup of empty "food" turns into a 1/2 gallon in a matter or hours.
Just don't go there. Whip up a fresh fruit smoothie - more
flavor, more nutritional value = more satisfaction.

Will power? Working knowledge is power. "Emotional eating" is
caused by chemicals, not your childhood.
