Dieting
Hey, If This is So Good For Me,
Why Does It Feel So Lousy?
Millions of dieters have spent decades proving
that this doesn't work:
What you've been up against:

mentally:

a lifetime of stale information on which you formed
unhealthy habits

an estimated 4,000 commercial messages
invading your space everyday

Health Headlines - a weekly load of contradictory
news you can't use

brain freeze - electrical short out  from tiring
attempts to short out conflicting information, old and
new
results: no decision made, no action taken, except
maybe some aspirin

physically:

Sudden reduction in combustible input (going on a
diet) puts your body in Famine Mode, so it tries to
store fat, not burn it. Your metabolism goes down,
your attempt to start an exercise program gets
overridden by a survival instinct to conserve energy.
Add to this the fact that almost every beverage
other than water might contain water, but also
contains enough diuretics to create chronic
dehydration, making movement uncomfortable if not
painful. No amount of superficial argument (mind
over matter, determination, discipline, will power,
self-control) can over rule the basic, deep message
your body sends that what you are doing is bad for
you, so stop it.

What Feels Good Is Habit Forming
eat when you feel hungry
Eat enough to maintain a sense of abundance - you
are safe, there is plenty of food around so it is okay
to relax and hey, burn some fat.
Eat Real Food as soon as you feel hungry.

drink before thirsty
Your thirst message is more of an alarm than a subtle
hint. Drink plain water, BEFORE you feel thirsty. Staying
lubed makes movement a pleasure, prevents
headaches, other aches and pains, asthma attacks,
helps body communicate to itself as messages are
conducted through water.

Rejoice! It is cheap and easy to please almost 80% of
you - just add water. The quickest way to wake up? Plain
water first thing, help your dehydrated brain to
CONDUCT business.
