Constipation

If you are eating whole grains, 4 servings of fresh
raw fruit and 5 servings of fresh vegetables,
including a salad everyday, plus enough plain water,
especially a glass half an hour before a meal,
constipation will not happen.

Check that bread label for whole grains, make sure
you are not tricked into unbleached refined flour
tinted brown to look like whole wheat.

If you think "oh ick, I hate vegetables and whole
wheat" you just haven't been properly introduced to
the right stuff. Whole grains tend to be tasty when
fresh. Vegetables that have been canned or frozen
is sludge. A leaf of iceberg lettuce with a wedge of
vinyl orange tomato should not be called a salad.

What you find in supermarkets is picture perfect
produce. It has been engineered for a long truck
ride, and look perfect for as long as possible. It is
usually expensive and tasteless.

Locate your local farmers market, you are in for
treats galore. Independent grocers often have good
stuff at reasonable prices.

Dried fruit without sweeteners or sulphur is okay.
Fresh juice is great, pasteurized juice is just like
refined sugar.
